Why this exists
The Clinical Fellowship has been running for decades on spreadsheets and a PDF template.
Search for a way to track your Clinical Fellowship hours and you’ll find spreadsheet templates and blog posts. That is the state of the art for a requirement that gates entry to the profession, carries a hard four-year deadline, and is evaluated in three separately-assessed segments.
Spreadsheets sum hours. They don’t know that the 36-week minimum is independent of your hours, that in-person observation is a subset of direct observation rather than a separate bucket, or that the CFSI is due at every segment close. Those are the things that actually go wrong.
Where the numbers come from
Every requirement on this site is taken from ASHA’s published standards — principally the Clinical Fellowship guide and the supervision of Clinical Fellows page. They live in a single module in this site’s source, so every calculator and every guide reads the same values.
1260 is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by ASHA. Requirements change. Confirm anything consequential against asha.org before you rely on it.
